CATALITE RIB

Description

African Cats has developed a new light weight RIB for more stability and safer sailing: the CATALITE RIB

The bottom of this RIB has a double V-bottom. The production of this rigid bottom takes place undervacuum infusion of epoxy.

Materials used:

• Carbon
• Basalt
• Kevlar
• Divinycell foam

The tubes have 3 separated air chambers and are produced of UV-resistant Hypalon.

Further a sailingkit is available to these RIBs of 3.10 and 3.50 metres length. Have a look at our SAILING CATALITE RIB page.

This optional sailing version includes:

• mast
• boom
• sail
• daggerboard
• daggerboard casing
• tiller and control lines.

The outboard acts as rudder.
The outboards used vary from 5 hp to a maximum of 15 hp.
With an outboard of 6 hp the RIB planes already.
