AFRICAN CATS offers Trampoline webbing for catamarans made from Dyneema® fiber.
Features of the webbing:
Because of the low stretch it is now possible to tie the trampoline webbing direct to the hulls and the forward crossbeam, so there will not be any openings between the yacht and the trampoline, making the forward platform a safer and more stable place to work or relax.
African Cats has developed this new webbing because the normally used trampolines do not let water penetrate the mazes well. Also, the weight of most webbing is over 2 kg p/m2. The degradation and stretching of nylon webbing was another reason for African Cats to change to the Dyneema® webbing.
From today all new African FastCats will be delivered with Dyneema® trampoline webbing.
African Cats invites any interested catamaran builder to contact her if they want to use the same material so they can also produce safer and lighter cats.
